When your spirit needs some liftin', look no further than the ultimate groove mix curated by the one and only, Folamour.

The power of the boogie is emphatically encapsulated by the French magician who is Folamour. I'm not trying to solely make a pun based on the title of his 7th Track in the mix, The Power of the Boogie; but like Savage Garden once remarked, truly madly deeply, this is soul-defying.

What Bruno Boumendil (Folamour) unleashes in your ears is the procurement of disco tech with a formidable portion of house groove. Music Is My Way of Life (Track 2) signifies that the mix is about to take you on a journey to the magical realm of groove, colourful imagery, and a whole lot of happiness. This journey is evident in the transitions between the chronological track line-up; he's no fool to the mixtape from a passionate perspective. His love and talent are evident in the sound that we get to hear as listeners.

So why this mixtape for this specific month? In all honesty, I meant to write about this a couple of months back. It was supposed to be my January recommendation, but you know how it is - it is never too late to share good music...ever. Hence, this is a mix that has been able to keep its relevancy in my day-to-day. I've listened to it on the bus, on walks, on planes, at social gatherings, on a night out, and on a run; it really just gives me a beaming grin and instantly can change my mood. It's become a foundation for smiling and being grateful for the opportunities we get in life. What is more, is that it gets your feet to parade the floor whilst the hips twirl to the beat of sex in your ears (I See The Light - Track 6).

If you do one thing in the next month or two, take yourself into the '80s whilst simultaneously giving this mixtape the attention it deserves.
