Hey! So Glad You're Here.

The Jamb! You may be wondering where the project title comes from. Essentially, the '"b" is representative of my surname whilst "Jam" is evidently a play on my first name, James. Together, you get the punchy title of 'the Jamb'! It is a space for creativity, for the love of writing and for sharing content that I believe is interesting. It also plays into my love for music. So, just like Technotronic's one hit - "pump up the jam"!

I am a young South African who was born and raised in Johannesburg. I attended school there and moved west to complete two degrees at the University of Cape Town (UCT). My undergraduate degree was a Bachelor of Social Sciences majoring in English, Politics, and Media. My honours degree specialised in International Relations. I have since been travelling for the year 2022. This was a decision I made in relation to where I felt I was in life, firmly believing that life can be short and that each day is a gift. I was searching for adventure, to be curious in its path, and to learn and grow with each experience that comes my way. This is from me to you, the reader. I do hope you enjoy what I have to say...If you don't, just pump up the jamb!
